Interior design blog about my journey to marriage and designing my first home.

I bought my house almost 3 years ago-seriously time flies! This is a photo of it when it was about 2 months away from being completed. Sadly…I’ve been putting off decorating it until now simply because I could. Well, now I’m getting married in a few months and I’m feverishly trying to make this place somewhat livable.

I’m extremely indecisive in general and buying furniture is proving to be harder then I ever expected! Hopefully this blog will help me stay organized and inspired. I’ll be posting my progress along the way so feel free to ask me any questions about where I bought certain things.

The Parisian interior decoration and design fair Maison & Objet opens next Friday and runs for four days. Our style editor Alexandra Gordon will be attending the event presenting her highlights from the fair within our May/June issue.
Looking back at our report from last year’s event we were once again struck by the beauty of the Hermès tableware collection. Bleus d’Ailleurs was launched during the 2011 fair within a Le Corbusier-designed villa in the Paris suburb of Boulogne.
The first blue and white tableware collection for the historic French brand, the collection melds elements from east and west and juxtaposes deep indigo with startling white to reflect the rich history of porcelain.
